Thank you to all our members for a wonderful year of training in 2025. The Sangrok Team is looking forward to another great year in 2026. As it is (finally) heating up here in in Canberra, please bring a drink bottle with you to training and ensure you drink plenty of water throughout the day.
HOLIDAY TRAINING DATES
The last day of training for 2025 will be Saturday 20 December and we will be back on the mats on Saturday 10 January!
SANGROK MINI UPDATE
It has been so fulfilling to be able to introduce taekwondo to the youngest members of our community and thank you to Pravin and Darien for running these classes with such warmth and enthusiasm! Our last Mini class for 2025 will be on Saturday 20 December and classes will resume at the beginning of the school term next year on Saturday 7 February.
DECEMBER GRADING
Last Saturday we held our last grading for 2025, with 15 people achieving new ranks. Well done to all who participated!
SANGROK BBQ AND AWARDS
It was lovely to celebrate 2025 with those who could make it to the (very cold and windy) BBQ in the park! Thank you again to Lily, who cooked us Korean food to try (it was delicious).
Congratulations to our 2025 award recipients. Choosing the award recipients is always so hard because we have so many nominations and so many deserving students.
This year the awardees were:

For the first time we also recognised long-term dedication through our 5 year and 10 year commitment certificates.
Andrew and Daniel were also presented with their 1st dan belts.

GENERAL CLUB UPDATE
We’re happy to announce that a new lease has been signed for the club. Following along from this, you might have noticed some recent changes, including building signage, new lighting, and we hope to install new blinds soon too. We have also been replacing training equipment over the last couple of months.
